	January 23, 2026 Dear Judges, It is my honor to nominate Times-News Visuals Producer Drew Nash for Idaho Press Club Photographer of the Year. Beginning his career with the Times-News as a freelance photographer and quickly advancing to Chief Photographer, Drew has been an invaluable member of our newsroom — and a trusted mentor — for nearly 17 years. Drew is a master photojournalist whose work speaks for itself. He has earned countless awards over the years, a testament to both his technical skill and his instinct for storytelling through images. During my many years as a reporter, I had the privilege of watching Drew work his magic firsthand. With charm and professionalism, he captures the true character of his subjects and brings our stories to life. Now, as executive editor of the Times-News, I rely daily on Drew’s discerning eye to keep our website visually compelling — on top of the many other responsibilities he expertly manages.
